In a related business move, NWF turned to DirectMail.com to process an expedited emergency fundraising campaign prompted by the April 20th oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. DirectMail.com devised a campaign format for NWF and processed nearly 1 million pieces within a week’s time, allowing NWF to be one of the first nonprofits to begin raising funds to minimize damage to wildlife and coastal ecosystems.
