CCI Direct Mail Announces Certification as Disability-Owned Business Enterprise
Disability:IN’s certification is a highly coveted designation for disability-owned businesses in the United States. This rigorous certification process requires a combination of screenings, interviews and site visits. After completing, meeting, and passing the review in the certification process, this award demonstrates that CCI Direct Mail meets the requirements to do business with large corporations and local, state, and federal government departments as a minority business.
“This is an honor to be certified as a disability-owned business and CCI is proud to be a part of the network of certified disabled-owned businesses," said Joseph Pisano, CEO of CCI Direct Mail. Our company has been a disadvantaged business since opening its doors in 1992, and it is exciting to now have the official DOBE certification behind our name.”
Steve Schuman, COO of CCI Direct Mail states that: “Being recognized as a disabled business entity will allow CCI to grow in more ways than one as many companies are seeking an opportunity to partner with minority-owned businesses and some are even mandated to do so. As a DOBE certified entity, CCI now meets the requirements for these companies, and presents an opportunity for them to partner with a reputable, experienced company in the direct mail space.”
CCI will now have various opportunities to be involved with a wide range of networking opportunities with other minority businesses as well as corporate members. The certification provides exposure to over 10,000 other minority businesses across the United States to engage in business opportunities and form partnering relationship, strategic alliances or joint ventures for success.
