EFI announced another sold out users' conference with 10 percent more pre-registered customer attendees compared to 2015. Held Jan. 19-22 at the at Wynn, Las Vegas, this year's event features the debut of several new Productivity Suites, along with digital print and industrial inkjet products to assist EFI customers adopting digital printing applications. During his opening keynote for the conference, EFI CEO Guy Gecht stressed the need for customers to "bet on changes in the market forces to accelerate."

Lien replaced BCC founder and former President K. Jon Runstrom, whose retirement took effect June 30.
Runstrom's retirement is effective June 30. Christopher Lien, currently BCC’s Executive Vice President, will become the company’s second president the following day.
