Two Industry Veterans Honored
CHICAGO—At the 2001 R&E Council bindery, finishing and distribution seminar here, Ronald L. Mihills, R&E Council managing director (left), honored retiring RIT professor Werner T. Rebsamen (center) and Ralph F. Box Jr., conference co-chair and senior vice president of Muller Martini, for their many years of service to the industry. Both men were presented an engraved glass globe in commemoration of their careers.

Sun Chemical CEO Shines in NYC
NEW YORK CITY—At the 16th annual New York University Prism Award luncheon, which honors exceptional leaders in the graphic arts and communications industry and benefits the NYU Center for Graphic Communications Management and Technology, this year's honoree Henri Dyner, president and CEO of Sun Chemical, was presented the award by William L. Davis, chairman, CEO and president of R.R. Donnelley & Sons.

Baldwin Technology announced it has signed a contract to supply its IMPACT global automatic blanket cleaning systems to the New York Post in a deal worth more than $2 million. Starting this summer, 184 double-wide units will be installed on four Goss Post Liner presses currently being sited at the Post's new facility in the Bronx.

Brad Moseley has been named to the sales staff of Ferag Americas. He will cover a number of western states for the manufacturer of gripper conveyor systems and related postpress products.

Brendan Finnegan has joined the Muller Martini press division sales team in the capacity of regional sales manager. Finnegan has almost 20 years experience in graphic arts sales. He is based in southern Connecticut and is responsible for press sales on the East Coast.

Flint Ink Europe has announced the opening of its new sheetfed ink "mother plant" in Helmond, The Netherlands. The mother plant produces Arrowstar process, PANTONE match and spot color inks for printers and converters in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Brandtjen & Kluge has announced the appointment of Felipe A. Ferradas as director of Latin American sales. In this position, Ferradas will lead Kluge's direct and indirect sales channels in Latin America. He will be responsible for the sale of Kluge's complete line of foil stamping, embossing and diecutting presses, folding and gluing systems, and web press systems.

Mitsubishi Lithographic Presses announced that Joe Finger, former Litho Center supervisor, has joined the Mitsubishi western regional sales team. In his new position, Finger will provide sales support at the company's west coast headquarters in Torrance, CA.
