Mailing & Fulfillment Service Association to Bring Leaders to GRAPH EXPO and PackPrint

December 2006
RESTON, VA—12/13/06—The Mailing & Fulfillment Service Association (MFSA) will stage its annual Leaders Conference in conjunction with the biggest graphic communications, converting and package printing trade shows of the year, GRAPH EXPO® and PackPrint, co-located at the McCormick Place Complex on September 9-12, 2007, bringing to Chicago more than 100 of the most influential leaders of the mailing and fulfillment business.

GRAPH EXPO, the largest graphic communications event in the Americas, has steadily expanded its coverage of this important market segment in recent years, and GASC expects the Mailing & Fulfillment Center at this year’s show to be the biggest yet.  The Center, dedicated to mailing and fulfillment equipment is expected to feature more than 40 exhibitors, occupying over 30,000 net square feet.

MFSA’s annual Leaders Conference, first held in conjunction with GRAPH EXPO® and CONVERTING EXPO® in 2006, was such a resounding success, the association is anticipating an even greater turnout for this year’s program to be held during GRAPH EXPO and PackPrint.

“Our members have a natural interest in GRAPH EXPO and PackPrint,” says David A. Weaver, president and CEO of MFSA, “because this event brings together so many leaders, vendors, technologies and opportunities.  Bringing two important resources together in the same location - our Leaders Conference and these key co-located industry shows - presents a major value for our members.”

Attending the MFSA Leaders Conference will be members of the association’s Board of Directors, chairmen and members of its key committees, a total of about 120 people, Weaver says.

MFSA will also design a series of seminar sessions on the specialty’s key business opportunities and technical challenges as part of GRAPH EXPO’s program of more than 60 sessions, the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC®) has announced.

In addition, the Mailing & Fulfillment Center will offer a full schedule of free presentations by vendors exhibiting in the Center in its own theater on the show floor.

“Printers today need to know how to execute mailing programs with maximum effectiveness for their clients, and their suppliers must be prepared to deliver new solutions and ideas to support this effort,” notes Ralph Nappi, president of GASC.  “This is the driving mission of all of the mailing and fulfillment initiatives at GASC shows, and our new alliance with MFSA is a major step toward meeting this goal.”

Co-located for the first time ever, the strategic combination of GRAPH EXPO and PackPrint will connect buyers and sellers of package printing and converting products and services with the graphic communications audience as they explore the entire spectrum of business opportunities and new customer-oriented solutions, together, under one roof.
