Dscoop Launches New Member Benefits, Announces New Board of Directors

December 2006
CHICAGO—12/07/06—The Digital Solutions Cooperative (Dscoop) has launched a new Web-to-print solution being offered only to members of the user-driven community of HP Indigo press owners and their sales, marketing and production teams. Created by Saepio Technologies, this solution allows Dscoop members to easily customize online templates with their company logo, contact information and success stories for their sales and marketing teams to show clients the creative and innovative capabilities that they can offer.

“This solution provides members the opportunity to truly educate their clients about 1-1 marketing, variable data printing and collateral on demand and show them proof of it. I know our sales team will be utilizing this tool and this benefit alone is worth our Dscoop membership investment” said Todd Kalagher, Dscoop Board member and President of Finlay in Bloomfield, CT.

In other news, Dscoop’s 2007 Annual Conference will bring together the user community and HP executives, representatives, and partners to facilitate knowledge sharing and networking among the entire community for a second time, which will be held February 1-3, 2007 at the Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, FL.

The Digital Solutions Cooperative has also recently decided on their new Board of Directors slate for 2006-2007. Acting as Dscoop Chairman of the Board again for the second year is Jack Glacken, President of Today’s Graphics. Todd Kalagher of Finlay has been elected Chairman-Elect for the 2006-2007 board after a year of service on the Board of Directors.

Dscoop welcomes Larry Vaughn of Ideal Printers (Houston, TX) to the Dscoop Board as the new VP of Finance. Larry has acted as the Chairman of the Dscoop Annual Conference in both 2006 and 2007 and a very active Dscoop member. Art Manzo of Global Soft Digital Solutions (Mahwah, NJ) was also elected as the new Dscoop Treasurer for 2007. Other members of the Dscoop Board of Directors include:

Christopher Wells, Lavigne, Inc. (Worchester, MA)
Terie Syme, Prestige Label (Burgaw, NC)
Doyle Mortimer, Alexander’s Print Advantage (Lindon, UT)
Eric Hawkinson, Executive Director (SmithBucklin – Chicago, IL)
David Leshem, Hewlett Packard (Rehovit, Israel)
Francis McMahon, Hewlett Packard (Boise, ID)

Dscoop also recognizes and thanks John Rogers of Dots and Pixels (Woodbridge, ON) for his service on the Dscoop Board of Directors as the VP of Finance this past year and as one of the founding members of Dscoop.

“I look forward to another great year as Chairman of the Digital Solutions Cooperative as we build even more momentum in our second year in providing valuable resources and a community for Indigo users” said Jack Glacken, continuing Dscoop Chairman.
