Tennessee Commercial Shop Differentiates Itself With Acquisition of Large-Format Output Device
NASHVILLE, TN—Stepping into the large-format arena, Marshall & Bruce Printing has added a six-color, 57˝ KBA Rapida 145 with coater and UV capabilities to its 55,000-square-foot facility. It joined an existing 20˝ KBA Genius 52 and a seven-color, 41˝ Rapida 105.
"We're using the new Rapida 145 to more efficiently print our high-end, point-of-purchase and packaging work on a variety of substrates, and allow the Genius to focus on short-run jobs and our Rapida 105 press to focus on high-end commercial work," explains Chip Smith, president of Marshall & Bruce.
Boaz—Agfa's first Anapurna M2500 wide-format UV inkjet printer in North America has been installed at BPI Media Group.

Arlington Heights—A Heidelberg Linoprint C901+ digital printing system with collator and corner stapler has been acquired by TPM Graphics.

Burnsville—BSCI (Business Card Service Inc.)—with production facilities here and in Agawam, MA—and Rocky Mount, NC-based Eagle Press have joined forces. The coupling provides expanded products and other enhancements to their corporate stationery distributor/trade-only partners.
Minneapolis—Creative Banner Assemblies has purchased Edge Exhibits. The new company is named Creative Banner Displays and is a subsidiary of Sign-Zone Inc.

Bellmawr—Catamaran Media has selected Evergreen Printing to print its three summer news magazines and 12 weekly publications with more than 100,000 weekly circulation. In addition, Evergreen was awarded the contract to print a daily magazine for 15 consecutive days during the 2013 U.S. Open tennis tournament.
Albany—To offset all of the emissions generated from its electricity use, Velocity Print Solutions has purchased more than 900,000 kWh of American wind renewable energy credits from Renewable Choice.
