Carolina Graphic Services Orders a manroland Large-Format Sheetfed Press
GREENSBORO, NC—Sept. 17, 2012—Carolina Graphic Services chose a manroland offset press for its most recent press purchase. The 56" manroland R906-6 LV six color press with coating module is to be installed later this year at the company’s new print production facility in the Greensboro, NC, area. The newest press will complement an existing 64" manroland six-color press that was purchased in 2006.
Ron Woodward, sales manager of Carolina Graphics, said, “We decided to stay with manroland for our next press based on our history together. The support that we have been receiving has been outstanding.
“Once our newest press is installed into the new plant, manroland will then move our existing R906-7 LV into its new home. We feel, for us, it is best to have the press manufacturer who manufactured the press be the one that moves and installs it,” Woodward noted.
Carolina Graphic Services is a leader in large-format printing products for point-of-sale (POS) packaging using recyclable eco-friendly materials.
“In addition to the press purchase, we are also utilizing manroland PRINTVALUE program offerings by purchasing a closed loop inker upgrade, additional training as well as the press move. We look forward to utilizing the additional capacity and are happy that it is a manroland R900,” reported Woodward
“This investment, along with our recent super large-format orders, builds upon the recent success the new manroland has achieved over the last six months,” states manroland sheetfed Managing Director Michael Mugavero. “With our new and used press sales, PRINTVALUE advances via Future Proof upgrades and major relocation projects for customer’s existing presses, we believe the North American market now sees a reinvigorated manroland that is perfectly positioned to service our customers.”
