Inco Graphics, a printing firm with 48 employees, will wind down its operations at the end of the year. “Some work will carry into next month but we will cease new production after Jan. 1,” President Richard Abood said Wednesday. Inco Graphics was founded in 1963 and has been at 222 W. Ash St. (Mason, MI) ever since.
That year, then-Gov. George Romney visited the business to mark its acquisition of a new offset printing press, Abood said. In 2004, Inco made another big investment in technology—$2 million—that didn’t turn out so well. It weighed down the company
