In our new series, Apptitude, Ashley Roberts will take time in each episode to highlight some of the unique and innovative printing and finishing techniques being used in the commercial print and visual communications spaces.
In this episode, we take a look at a piece of direct mail from Rochester, N.Y.-based BCC Software that was developed and printed in-house by Shawmut Communications. A Komori press was used and 130-lb. Chorus Art Silk cover with an overall satin aqueous coating was employed to get the look and feel desired by BCC Software.
Stay tuned for more from Apptitude, however, we need your help! If you have a cool piece of printed media that you want to share with the world, let us know! Make sure to send Ashley Roberts an email.
