Bookmasters has signed agreements with six publishers to distribute their titles in the United States and abroad. The publishers include Centum Books, Bancroft Press, Flame Tree Publishers, the Christian Board of Publication/Chalice Press, Somersault Group and Generations with Vision.

Bookmasters will begin distributing more than 140 of h.f.ullmann’s English-language titles on July 1, 2014, with an anticipated 15 to 20 additional new publications each year. h.f.ullmann's titles cover a range of subjects, including architecture, art history, cars, design, drawing, fashion, fine arts, food and drink, medicine, music, paper craft, science, and spirituality.
Gary Koesters has been tapped as the new vice president of manufacturing and distribution of Bookmasters. In his new capacity, Koesters will work closely with Ken Fultz, general manager, to implement operational improvements to Bookmasters’ book manufacturing and book distribution operations.

Ken Fultz has been tapped as the new general manager of Bookmasters, a leading provider of a full range of publisher services in Ashland, OH. Fultz comes to Bookmasters from Thomson-Shore, where he served as vice president of operations.
Major distributor Baker & Taylor will offer publisher services to its customers via a new strategic partnership with Bookmasters, the company announced on July 10.
Baker & Taylor will offer its customers access to all of Bookmasters’ services, including print-on-demand and short-run digital printing, offset printing and binding in a range of formats, content and editorial services, ebook conversion and distribution, publisher distribution services and third-party fulfillment, and book sales and marketing services.
The move comes as private equity firm Castle Harlan acquired Bookmasters; that purchase was also announced yesterday. Castle Harlan had previously acquired Baker & Taylor in July 2006 for
ASHLAND, OH—Bookmasters has installed Muller Martini’s Scalable SigmaLine digital book production system. This technology’s ultra-short-run manufacturing capabilities allows the company to produce variable-sized, perfect bound books in-line with its new Océ JetStream 1000 inkjet press.
Bookmasters will now handle the sales and distribution for Express Publishing, to distribute their wide range of English Language Learning (ELL) materials in the United States and Canada. The Express catalog, including books, AV materials, and whiteboard applications, will be sold under a Sole Source agreement by Sussman Sales and its business division, LightSwitch Learning.
