About 100 commercial and in-plant printers gathered together this week for the fourth annual Inkjet Summit at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. The event, produced by NAPCO Media and nGage Events, kicked off Monday evening at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club with a keynote address by Conference Chair Marco Boer, VP of IT Strategies, who discussed the many benefits of inkjet technology, and why attendees should not wait for their competitors to beat them into inkjet.
Eleven industry leaders were inducted into Epicomm’s Soderstrom Society at ceremonies during the annual Soderstrom Awards Dinner.
At the Canon EXPO event being held Sept. 9-11, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, visitors will have an opportunity to see the Océ VarioPrint i300 printer in action. To date, the machine has successfully been installed in four customer locations, including IWCO Direct, OneTouchPoint (CCI), Merrill Corp. and Progressive Impressions International (pii).
