WCTC OKs $3.9M for Facility

November 2004
PEWAUKEE, WI—The board of trustees at Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) has provided preliminary approval for the concept of a new $3.9 million printing center here, the Waukesha Freeman newspaper reported.

The concept was given the initial OK following a presentation by Printing Industries of Wisconsin President and CEO Niall Power, along with Carol Brown, school president.

The 26,000-square-foot educational facility would offer a unique learning opportunity for students, as vendor equipment would be rotated to offer students the latest in printing technology. This would also benefit vendors that want to showcase their newest machinery in action to commercial printers, the paper noted.
