USPS: Mail Volume Continues to Dwindle

WASHINGTON, DC--The U.S. Postal Service expects to end the current fiscal year with a volume decline of nine billion pieces when its financial results are released in November. At its Board of Governors meeting, Postmaster General John Potter said that a reduction in work hours will be necessary to "shore up its business."
