ROCHESTER, NY—August 7, 2006—A desire to enhance his company’s productivity led Kamron Motamedi, president of American Printing and Copy, to install a trio of Kodak solutions. Motamedi selected Kodak Prinergy Evo News software, a Kodak Magnus 400 platesetter and the Matchprint Inkjet 9800 proofing solution to advance his time to press and grow his business.

“The Magnus 400 platesetter is so much faster than our previous system. For example, on difficult jobs, our pressman used to wait a couple of hours for the plates to image. Now we’re talking minutes, which is an incredible reduction,” explained Motamedi. “We also save significant time with last minute client changes. Instead of sending a customer home while we remake his or her plates, we can get the new plates produced while they grab a cup of coffee.”
