MIAMI—September 27, 2006—St Ives U.S. Division specializes in complete creative services from design concept, photography through final mechanical, Web Offset, Sheetfed, complete in-house binding, finishing, on-site mailing and fulfillment services and Digital/On Demand Variable Data Printing.
They are expanding their web offset and perfect binding capacity in South Florida. The expansion of capacity includes additional six-color capability with U.V. coating on one or two sides of the web, if required. In the Bindery, the expansion includes additional increased capacity with a fourth perfect binder, which includes demographic/selective capability, ink jet addressing—inside and out. Inside address/messaging is right reading, Outside address/messaging can be parallel or perpendicular to the spine. Existing capabilities continue to include folding, saddlewire stitching, polybag and tip on’s. Web presses deliver A-size, Digest, Oblong, Tabloid, Slim Jim, Delta Fold, Press Pasted and Press Finished Products. Sheeter products are available, too.
Beyond its printing capabilities, St Ives Florida offers full-service creative, including design, art direction, copywriting, fashion and hardline photography, and translation services. Complementing our team of award-winning creative talent is an impressive list of resources. More than 40,000 square feet of studio space, a fully equipped kitchen and an extensive collection of sets and props can accommodate virtually any type of shoot. An on-site carpentry shop is available for custom set needs. Within the secure, air-conditioned merchandise area, customer product is checked in, tracked and stored for the duration of each project. Just down the hall are St Ives digital prepress experts, capable of handling all levels of retouching and color correcting.
