Schiele Group Acquires Document Solutions Firm Carlith LLC
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL—April 22, 2014—In efforts to further grow and expand its products and services, Schiele Group has acquired Carlith LLC, a document solutions company based in Carpentersville, IL. The three partners on the executive team of Carlith bring an extensive amount of knowledge and expertise—each partner having over 40 years of experience working in the commercial printing industry.
“We are very honored to have been chosen by Carlith to continue building their business,” said John Schiele, CEO, Schiele Group. “Carlith is a hugely beneficial addition to Schiele Group’s already diverse companies, Schiele Graphics and Repro Graphics. With this acquisition, we continue to evolve as a diversely skilled, fast-moving team of professionals ready to learn from each other and meet whatever challenges our clients may face.”
Jim Erber, Carlith LLC, also commented on the acquisition: “Our search for a company to carry on our tradition was an arduous one. We are excited for the opportunity to combine forces with a team of dedicated employees with a hands-on, high-touch approach to business. We hand selected them because of their like-minded ways of doing business, parallels in our company cultures, their same commitment to outstanding customer service, dedication to superior quality and their passion for print and experience in the industry.”
Erber also added: “The capabilities of the Schiele Group will enable our customers to experience a wide expansion of services we haven’t been able to offer them in the past. Now, like those Schiele Group services, our Carlith customers will have one source to go to for an endless array of print-centric solutions.”
