LANSDALE, PA—April 9, 2013—Richard A. Nash, 86, died Saturday, April 6, 2013, in Chattanooga, TN.
“The PrintWorks family wishes to express our sincerest condolences to the Nash family on the passing of Dick Nash,” said Martin Wolfe, president of PrintWorks & Company.
Nash owned and operated the former Nash Printing in Lansdale, PA. “I always had a great working relationship with Dick,” says Wolfe, “I always knew that I was being treated fairly and with mutual respect. His character and integrity spoke volumes to me; he was a pillar in the industry, as well as the communities in which he did business.” Founded in 1929, Nash Printing was one of the oldest and longest standing printing firms in Montgomery County, PA.
“The ways in which we ran our businesses and personal lives were so much aligned that we would combine forces over time,” Wolfe explained.
PrintWorks & Company eventually went on to purchase the assets and property of Nash Printing in April of 2006 and consolidated the operations of the two businesses in 2009 on the site of the former Nash Printing at 1617 North Line St. in Lansdale.
Born October 19, 1926, in Lansdale, Richard Nash was son of the late Melvin and Erna Nash.
