Quad Reaps Patent Innovator Honors Again

SUSSEX, WI—Quad/Graphics remains at the head of its class for patent innovation, according to The Wall Street Journal feature "Patent Scorecard for Heavy Industrial Equipment," which ranks patent portfolios of more than 100 global manufacturers based on quality, technological strength and industry impact.
The newspaper gave Quad a Research Intensity score of 7.3, highest of any of the top 50 companies in the Heavy Industrial Equipment scorecard. A high Research Intensity score indicates that a company’s technology is more cutting edge than its competitors. Quad received similar recognition in May of 2008.
