September 28, 2011
PITTSBURGH—Sept. 28, 2011—Printing Industries of America will be holding the next meeting of the Automation Solutions Network at Mimeo.com’s headquarters in Memphis, TN. The group will meet on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 2012.

Mimeo.com is an innovator of online, on-demand document printing and distribution, and has been named one of the fastest growing companies for its seventh year. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour Mimeo.com’s facilities to see how the firm incorporates automation and cloud technology to place direct access and control of its solutions into the hands of customers and partners. Chuck Gehman, vice president of Product Management at Mimeo.com, will speak about the company’s automation strategy.

“We are very pleased that Mimeo.com, a shining example of a successful, growing and profitable company, is working with the Automation Solutions Network to help printers learn more about automation and how it can bolster business,” Mark Bohan, vice president, Technology and Research, Printing Industries of America, said.

In addition to the tour of Mimeo.com headquarters, attendees will visit FedEx Express’ global SuperHub to witness how it handles and ships 3.5 million packages each night. The tours and other presentations are part of Automated Solutions Network’s mission to help printing companies improve their use of automation.

The Automation Solutions Network is organized jointly by Printing Industries of America and CIP4. Participants can register for $250. For more information on Mimeo.com and the activities for the meeting, visit www.printing.org/mimeomeeting.
