Digital Art Exchange (DAX) and Hilgraeve Inc., a provider of secure Internet delivery solutions, have formed a strategic partnership. Hilgraeve's HyperSend will be integrated into the DAX suite of applications. The solution, DAX-IT (DAX secure Information Transfer), will allow customers to take advantage of Hilgraeve's HyperSend file transfer technology. has partnered with Schenker to provide Paper-Exchange customers with instant access to European freight services. The partnership will provide PaperExchange customers with the ability to obtain origin-to-destination logistic quotes, allowing members to complete the transaction process online. Schenker will offer PaperExchange customers a comprehensive forwarding and logistics service. has launched its Website. It is a new online job board serving the printing industry. The site connects companies and employees in the printing, copy, digital and Web industries. Since its launch, the site reportedly has handled more than 400,000 searches.

Collabria announces it has signed on more than 1,000 companies to its PrintCommerce application service and is currently logging tens of thousands of transactions each month. Collabria's PrintCommerce is available as a hosted application service through privately branded Websites that allow print buyers, creative agencies and print suppliers to conduct business online.

PagePath Technologies has upgraded its Website. The upgrade includes a new interface, a Flash overview, testimonials, an overview of its 17-year history and an extensive resource area for use by printers and other graphic arts service providers. In other news, PagePath has announced an automated, private labeled newsletter service called PrintNewz. The newsletter is sent electronically to the print shop's customers each month. Finally, MyOrderDesk was recently voted "Product of the Year" by the membership of PrintImage International.

Gary Dolgins has joined as vice president, business development. Dolgins is now leading the development of key strategic partnerships and is building Printable's Virtual Suppliers Network. The Virtual Suppliers Network is the next in a series of digital workflow/e-business services Printable provides to the printing and graphic arts marketplaces. Dolgins comes to Printable from Portalis Inc., where he served as president of its U.S. subsidiary.

Printnation has named Robert Locke CEO. Locke, who possesses substantial executive experience in the printing, technology and financial industries, will succeed founders Tony and Freddie Seba. The company also announced a reorganization. The reorganization includes a 47 percent reduction in staff, trimming the number of employees from 75 to 40. It does not affect the Printnation online store, which continues to operate. Locke has also initiated a strategic assessment on how best to enhance Printnation's position in the market.
