Mann to Take Executive Helm at Hess Print Solutions

DOWNERS GROVE, IL—Hess Print Solutions, a provider of printing solutions and other value-added services for catalogs, books, publications and educational printed products, announced it has named Douglas Mann president and CEO, effective immediately. He replaces Michael Duffield, who is retiring as CEO, but will remain as a member of the company's board of directors.
Mann is a 20-year veteran of the printing, direct marketing and advertising industry, and most recently was with Vertis Communications, where he was senior vice president of operations.
At Vertis, Mann was instrumental in the execution of strategic and tactical initiatives that led to implementation of lean six sigma practices, substantial sales growth and margin improvement.
