Fujifilm Demonstrates J Press 720 Inkjet Press at GRAPH EXPO

October 3, 2012

The J Press 720 expands the range of jobs a general commercial printer can take on by enabling high-quality, custom, short-run print work. The J Press provides an effective inkjet solution that allows the flexibility and versatility of using standard coated and uncoated stocks and finishing characteristics associated with the durability and performance of an offset sheet. Fujifilm Inkjet Technology provides outstanding quality printing that is on par with and, in many cases, exceeds conventional offset quality.

With the J Press 720, there is virtually no makeready waste or makeready time, and it prints on standard stocks with a color consistency and accuracy within a Delta E of less than 2. The J Press utilizes Inline sensors to monitor quality control, monitoring every sheet to ensure output quality and performing automatic corrections while printing.

Fujifilm Dimatix Samba print heads and water-based Fujifilm Vivida ink, specially developed by Fujifilm to match the performance criteria of the Fujifilm Rapid Coagulation Primer (RCP) work collaboratively to deliver the highest quality inkjet printing available today.
