Fraser Idles Two Machines Indefinitely

GORHAM, NH—Fraser Papers plans to curtail production of commodity freesheet paper grades on paper machines 13 and 14 at its mill here. The indefinite shutdown will begin April 13. Production on machine 12 was suspended in late 2007. Toronto-based Fraser will continue to operate two of its five machines in Gorham that produce specialty printing papers and industrial towels.
