Duplo USA Details Three New Product Installations

SANTA ANA, CA—May 21, 2012—Duplo USA, a leading manufacturer of print finishing equipment, has announced new machine installations at HomeVisit, Invitation Consultants, and ASI For You.

HomeVisit, in Chantilly, VA, has improved its productivity with Duplo’s DC-745 slitter/cutter/creaser. The high-production digital finisher slits and cuts borders and prevents toner cracking with great speed and versatility, producing full-bleed finished pieces in a matter of minutes.

“The DC-745 has eliminated approximately five to seven hours of manual cutting per day,” says Steve Powers, supervisor at HomeVisit. “It’s used five days a week on almost every printed piece produced. The DC-745 has provided us with great savings in labor and production times so we can operate more efficiently.”

All jobs are printed on a Xerox iGen4 EXP press with the new oversized feeder enabling the company to print sheets up to 26˝ in length. The machine was sold and installed by Duplo dealer, Coleman One.

HomeVisit is a leading provider for real estate marketing solutions offering video tours, color print materials, and digital photography services for real estate agents and brokers.

Invitation Consultants, in Tampa, FL, is now finishing its invitations, greeting cards, thank you cards, and photo announcements with Duplo’s DC-615 Pro slitter/cutter/creaser. Featuring the PC Controller software, the DC-615 Pro enables any operator to set up programs, manage all functions, and store and recall jobs via a PC quickly and efficiently.

“We were not cutting the jobs ourselves before,” says Olivier De Meulder, vice president of Invitation Consultants. “The machine now allows us to bring finishing in-house and become more profitable.”

ASI for You in Pompano Beach, FL, has added Duplo’s DSC-10/20 suction collator to its DBM-120 bookletmaker. The DSC-10/20 is a heavy duty, yet affordable, collating solution designed for both offset and digitally printed applications and can also be configured with the high-end DBM-500 and mid-range DBM-350 bookletmakers.
