Dorstener Wire Drawing Opens New U.S. Manufacturing and Distribution Facility in York, PA

YORK, PA—June 17, 2014—Dorstener Wire Drawing is pleased to announce the opening of its new U.S. manufacturing and distribution facility located in York, PA. Dorstener Wire Drawing, founded in 2013, is a member of the Dorstener Group of Companies. Operations in York, PA, started in January 2014 and will be in full production by October 2014.

Pat McGrenera, vice president, explains, “DWD’s new plant will incorporate Dorstener’s unique proven process for producing stitching wire and new state of the art equipment unlike any other in the world. Additionally, distribution of our manufactured products will be strategically positioned at multiple locations in North America as required logistically to efficiently serve our customers.”

The York, PA, plant will manufacture POWERBIND wire in gauges from 18 to 28 and package them in all common spools sizes as well as the high capacity EASYDRUM system. In addition, DWD will offer the BINDSERVICE product line which includes wire lubricants, handling and despooling equipment.
