CHICAGO—September 15, 2010—Technique-MIS, a provider of modular ERP/MIS software solutions to the printing industry, today announces that Creel Printing has begun implementation of the full suite of Technique-MIS and shop floor data collections systems at all locations. Creel Printing, based in Las Vegas, is one of the largest magazine, catalog, direct mail and commercial printers in North America.
The company's objective was to find a single MIS solution that could handle its diverse product range, plus improve both efficiencies and the service that it provides to its customers. After a thorough selection process, Creel chose Technique-MIS to increase automation and efficiencies throughout all areas of its business. Creel Printing offers a broad range of printed products and utilizes sheetfed, heatset and open-web presses, along with a wide array of finishing equipment across two printing plants.
Chris Evans, Vice President Premedia & Customer Solutions at Creel Printing, visited a number of Technique's customers to see the system in operation and commented, "Once you see the Technique system in action you can really appreciate why so many of the world's leading publication printers have chosen it to manage their businesses. The integration from sales, through the front office and into the plant is seamless, and provides huge efficiencies and powerful management information. Having gained so much experience with other publication printers, the added value that Technique is able to provide is unrivaled."

We constantly look to make investments to improve our business and the need for an integrated MIS system has never been greater. We are excited about our future and rather than just hoping for greater success, we are taking positive steps to ensure it."
