Chris Raney Named Vice President, Postpress Packaging at Heidelberg USA

KENNESAW, GA—Jan. 14, 2011—Heidelberg USA reports that Chris Raney has joined Heidelberg USA as vice president, Packaging. Chris will report to James Martin, senior vice president, and will be responsible for Postpress Packaging, while Dan Maurer, vice president, Postpress Product Management, will be responsible for all Commercial Postpress.
 
“We are excited to have Chris join our U.S. management team,” said James Martin, senior vice president, Marketing, Heidelberg USA. “His deep industry experience, product knowledge and expertise will be of great assistance to us in product management and in support of our postpress packaging sales efforts.”
 
Raney has more than 20 years of professional business management experience in the folding carton segment of the graphic arts industry, all of which at Bobst Group SA in the United Kingdom, Switzerland and North America. Most recently he served as vice president of sales, Folding Carton Business from 2002-2010, leading a sales and service team, and working to develop strong relationships with suppliers and customers at all levels to generate new business.

Raney holds an MBA from Cranfield University, U.K. and a Bachelor of Science from Bristol University, U.K.
