Salem Printing has Promised to Donate $1 for Every Facebook ‘Like’
A local business is using social media to raise money for Carilion’s Children's Hospital. Salem Printing Co. has pledged to donate $1 for every “like” the company gets on its Facebook page. Manager John Mitchell says it's a way to help and get others involved.
"Could be a lot of money but it's worth it," says Mitchell. "It's something we've committed to. We do a lot, we believe in the community. Most of the things we do are for servicing the community."
Salem Printing is also making 500 coloring books for the Children's Hospital. The drawings were submitted by local students.
