The midsized union printing shop (Keller Bros.), now run by its third Salerno generation, has survived the national recession, Western New York’s economic struggles and the rise of the digital age. “We are in the thralls of the 12 busiest weeks we’ve ever had,” Ralph J. Salerno said last week.
Salerno said they remain competitive by offering good customer service, judiciously investing in used equipment and buying out small print shops to grow their business.
The company has 16 workers today, adding five to its work force since March, and stays competitive by promising responsive customer service and timely completion of orders.
