Neal Uy Lim, 50 of Missouri City (TX), was owner of one of the nation’s largest mail sorting businesses. The firm [Gulf Coast Presort/Mail Processing Center] specialized in mass mailings of official notices or advertisements, usually affixing postage by using a “meter” machine. In Lim’s case, he’s been found guilty of fooling the U.S. Postal Service so that his meter machines would keep on printing postage even when the Postal Service wasn't paid for it.
In some cases, according to evidence presented to the jury in his federal court trial, he even used counterfeit meter machines
