On this episode of The Week that Was, Australia-based Orora Limited has acquired Pollock Packaging, based in Grand Prairie, Texas, for $80.5 million dollars.

In other acquisition news, Quad/Graphics announced it will acquire Periscope, a Minneapolis-based creative agency, for $132.5 million dollars. Periscope is one of the nation's top five creative agencies by annual revenue.

Also making headlines this week, Memjet and MGI have announced a strategic partnership wherein MGI has integrated Memjet's DuraLink inkjet printing technology into the MGI AlphaJET B1 Inkjet Printing and Embellishment press.

Finally, Nov. 30 marks the final day of operation for Bartash Printing. The Philadelphia-based company, founded in 1952, had called itself the largest coldset web offset printer in the greater Philadelphia area and among the top 100 publication printers in North America.
