Are You Using the Channel That Managers Use to Support Purchase Decisions?
Are you a social media doubter?
Every time I talk or write about social media, I get a whole bunch of responses telling me that social media is a waste of time.
Let’s look at some recent research which shows that social media is anything but a waste of time:
- 75% of business-to-business buyers use social media to research suppliers.
- 84% of C-level/vice president executives use social media to support purchase decisions.
(Source: IDC, Sept. 2014)
What happens if a buyer is trying to find out about you and can’t find you on social media? You’re very like to miss out on winning a new client. Especially if your competitors have a good social media presence.
Do you still think social media is a waste of time?
