Have a look at the calendar. This blog will be posted on June 2. Including this one, there are five full selling weeks until the Fourth of July and the dreaded Summer Slowdown (you know, the one that you created when you assumed it was going to happen and subsequently stopped your prospecting efforts in March, April, and May).
Five weeks.
25 business days.
What short-term sales activity goal could you make for yourself? How many calls could you make, at minimum, for the month? How about challenging yourself to setting five new business appointments per week and not leaving the phones until you do?
While sales is a marathon, you are right now in a sprint. At the finish line are hot dogs, fireworks and parades. Set a goal and then run as fast as you can towards it.
On your mark, get set, go!
