This week, PaperSpecsGallery.com presents the "New Move Trend Diary" self-promotional calendar piece created by German design firm EIGA Design, that examines visual trend and documents exceptional design around the central theme of motion and move. What is striking at first about the booklet is the super-thick front and back cover—four layers of stock in two different colors were laminated together for the special effect and then the front cover was laser engraved, a process that took about five minutes. The result is a cool textural effect.
"New Move Trend Diary," was printed by Media Druckwerk Gruppe GmbH in Hamburg, Germany, and the paper used was Römerturm Feinstpapier, Zanders Zeta Matt, and Legion Paper Colorplan.
