Meet Noel Bedayo, Managing Director of Philippines Operations
Noel started with Affinity Express in April of 2008 and has built a strong rapport with colleagues locally and globally. As the head of S.P.E.E.D. (Services and Products Engineered for Excellence and Development), Noel mentors and consults with our business leaders in the area of process planning, pricing, and metrics-driven strategies and improvements.
Noel is glad to have been part of the growth of our Manila office, and says:
The growth we have seen since the start of the year and the progress made toward the goal of maximizing the Affinity Express facility is a testament to the Manila team’s ability to provide a better service.
We asked Noel what he was most excited about his new position:
I’m excited to have an opportunity to help develop a facility—a center of excellence—of which the Affinity Express team can be proud. It is even more important to me to develop an environment where people can develop their skills and grow.
Prior to joining Affinity Express, Noel had a 20-year career with SPI. Most recently, he was director of operations. During his tenure, he handled two Philippine facilities with more than 1,000 employees, worked with suppliers in India, China and Vietnam and assisted in the set-up of suppliers in Vietnam. Noel graduated with a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from Adamson University in Manila.
When not at work, he loves watching science fiction, adventure and suspense movies. Being with nature recharges him so he tries to take walks on the beach.
Noel's promotion was welcomed by employees in Manila. Manager of the S.P.E.E.D. Team Charm Artiaga says here: “I am extremely grateful that I have Noel as my boss and mentor.” I congratulate Noel and look forward to seeing the Manila team rise to new heights under his leadership.
