Can You Make This Print Sales Call? Gen Z Is Coming

Generation Z is coming. They were born between 1998 and 2008 and they will make up 40% of the consumer base by the year 2020. According to a Bank of America content creator, you have eight seconds to get their attention.

How long is eight seconds? It takes eight seconds to read the first two sentences of this blog.

Is this our — the print sales rep/selling owner — problem? Well, no … but also yes. While our customers are not going to be 11- to 21-year-olds, our customers’ customers might be and, if that’s the case, we need to provide them with help in coming up with a clear message that can be delivered in eight seconds. This is a factoid around which you could build a sales pitch that would land you an appointment with marketing.
