MEMPHIS, TN—McFadden Communications has acquired the assets of StarrToof Printing Co. The company will continue to do business under the StarrToof name. StarrToof reportedly is the oldest and largest commercial printing company in the mid-south. The company offers sheetfed and web printing, conventional and digital photography, design and prepress services, as well as foil stamping, embossing and diecutting capabilities at their two Memphis plants. MEMPHIS—Wilson Graphics, a Kemmons Wilson Company, has acquired Pinnacle Press, a printer specializing in graphic consulting, electronic prepress services, printing, finishing, fulfillment and inventory management. The company will operate under the corporate name Pinnacle. Officials say the new company will be one of the most complete graphic communications companies in the mid-South region.
