MENASHA, WI—Banta Corp. has reported a 98 percent drop in fourth quarter net income, as well as plans to restructure its consumer catalog business and supply-chain management activities. The company says that its fourth quarter net earnings fell to $392,000, from $16.1 million a year earlier. This was largely due to a non-cash impairment charge of $26.8 million. As a result of the restructuring, Banta expects to take pretax charges of $15 million to $18 million, primarily in the second and third quarters of this year.
