Sandy Alexander Inc. is the first U.S. customer to purchase and install EFI’s new high-volume, 5-meter EFI VUTEk 5r LED roll-to-roll printer. The Clifton, N.J.-based integrated multi-channel communication solutions provider chose the superwide-format printer to add greater production capacity and redundancy in its growing wide-format division.

PARSIPPANY, NJ—Hammer Co., a third-generation, family owned business that provided commercial printing, packaging, direct mail and fulfillment work, is going out of business. Six of its sales representatives have been hired by Sandy Alexander of Clifton, NJ.

NEW CANAAN, CT—Jonathan Fogel, a former senior vice president at Sandy Alexander of Clifton, NJ, has joined MSP LLC as a partner. He is reunited with longtime Sandy Alexander execs Roy Grossman and Chip Stine, the founders of MSP.

Two trusted names in the graphic communications industry – Clifton-based Premium Color Graphics, Inc. and Carlstadt-based Hand Pack, Inc – have merged to form Premium Color Group LLC (www.premiumcolor.com).  The merger was the logical evolution of an alliance going back over eight years. All three principles, Mark Fitzgerald and John Watson of Premium Color Graphics and Andrew Griffin of Hand Pack, are Managing Partners of the new Premium Color Group.
