Creps United Publications in Indiana, PA, has completed the installation of three new Goss Sunday insert presses.

Direct mail trade printer Tidewater Direct, has installed a two-color Goss Sunday 2000 web press at its Centreville, MD, facility. A sister press to its six-color Sunday 2000 printing press, the latest press will focus on the production of low-color direct mail component parts, commercial printing and pharmaceutical printing.

Rutger Jansen has been promoted at Goss International to manage the extensive Goss Europe customer service network providing emergency and routine service and parts, as well as proactive maintenance and enhancement programs for Goss customers throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Two new appointments have been made at Goss International. Matt Adler has joined the company as director of sales for packaging products in the Americas; and John Kulak has been appointed manager of the new Goss Packaging Technology Center, a specialized demonstration, testing and education facility at the Goss headquarters in Durham, NH.

James Bender of Sharon, MA, was a former senior vice president of trade finance for Sovereign Bank. He was accused of conspiring to defraud several Latin American customers of Goss International Americas. The U.S. attorney's office says the 49-year-old Bender arranged for the bank to purchase loans extended to customers and formed shell companies to defraud businesses.

The customers were sent fraudulent invoices charging them for loan underwriting services that weren't rendered.

ST. LOUIS PARK, MN—Japs Olson Co. will add its third new Goss Automatic Transfer (Sunday) web press in early 2014 to aid in production of direct mail. The company will also install a new Goss Pacesetter saddlestitcher at its facility here.
