Davies Named President of Action Printing

FOND DU LAC, WI—Action Printing has named Gregg Davies its new president, according to the Beaver Dam (WI) Daily Citizen. He replaces Bob Carew, who is retiring after nearly 38 years with the company.Davies joined Action Printing in 1997 as director of sales and publications. Carew has served as president the past 12 years.

NAPL Honors Best Managed Graphic Communications Companies

Top Management Conference Shines

PHOENIX—The weather may not have cooperated, but that didn't dampen the spirits of the 265 people who attended the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) Top Management Conference, held here last month at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort. Even Andrew Paparozzi, NAPL's chief economist, gave a largely sunny forecast in his state-of-the-industry report that kicked off the meeting.
