This year’s RMGT ELITE LED Users Group focused on the sustainability of LED print. Leading off the program was Gary Jones, director, environmental, health, and safety affairs at PRINTING United Alliance.

The primary driver in the move to UV printing is wanting to address new high-end commercial printing markets, and to increase the volume of work going through print operations. UV curing enhances the print quality, and produces sharper and cleaner images with a multitude of different finishes available.

Primary Color, a leading print provider in the horticultural market and for consumer product groups in the wine and spirits market, recently installed a five-color RMGT 9 Series press with UV curing.

Pioneer Press, a leading commercial printer in the greater Denver, CO, market is installing an eight-color RMGT 9 Series perfecting press with LED-UV curing in 2022.
