The Rohrer Corp. in Wadsworth, OH, has purchased two Foildex Cold Foil and Filmdex UV Cast and Cure systems from Diversified Graphic Machinery. The sale and purchase was announced jointly from the DGM exhibit at PRINT 13 by Michael DeBard, president of Diversified Graphic Machinery, and Scot Adkins, president and CEO of Rohrer Corp.
The pundits who have proclaimed PRINT 13 a great success are not exaggerating. Most exhibitor booths were busy, busy, busy. There was an energy present that had been sorely missing from earlier GRAPH EXPO shows.
At PRINT 13, Brandtjen & Kluge will be co-exhibiting in the Colter & Peterson booth, and will be promoting the "Cartons in Minutes" digital production line with strategic partner LasX. Kluge will also have technical experts on hand to address any folding and gluing, foil stamping, and diecutting applications.
MBO America will introduce the MBO M80 Flexible Folding System with modular add-on capabilities at PRINT 13 in Chicago. The M80 comes with modular design technology and can be reconfigured after purchase with the capability to add or interchange certain components according to a customer's specific needs.
While digital print is the star, finishing is more important than ever. And there will be lots of new stuff on display in Chicago. It would take more than a few pages to highlight all of it, so I'll just pick a few that I think are worth a visit.
