Printing at 60 pages/min. in color and black-and-white, the press also features Gloss Optimization technology, advanced toner transfer, real-time calibration and more.

Print & Finishing Solutions will be demonstrating its most innovative technologies to VIP customers at an open house November 14-15 in Placentia, CA. Included in the showcase will be the West Coast premier of the MGI Meteor DP8700 XL+ toner-based digital press. Guests will be able to have one-on-one demonstrations of the Meteor DP8700 XL+, a 2014 Must See 'Ems Award winner.

The Linoprint CV and Linoprint CP models from Heidelberg are geared toward improved flexibility and productivity in the cost-effective production of short, personalized and hybrid print runs. The CV model runs at 90 pg./min., while the CV runs at 130 pg./min.

There are a few common threads, but it is interesting how each company tailors its approach to its own personality, its target market and even its geographic location.

Recent upgrades made to the Kodak NexPress Digital Production Color Press Platform include the ability to support sheet lengths up to 1 meter, a Dura Coat mode, a Light Black HD Dry Ink Station as a standard feature and an Automated Imaging Cylinder Cleaning System. These configuration changes will become standard on all presses built in 2015, and will be available as optional or standard upgrades on the majority of installed Kodak NexPress presses.
