Web Offset Association Print Award Winners Announced
PITTSBURGH—June 29, 2010--The Web Offset Association (WOA) is proud to announce the winners in the annual Web Offset Association Print Awards. These awards showcase unique offset pieces and give printers a chance to be recognized by the public and peers.
In its 28th year, the Web Offset Awards welcomed 340 entries from 57 printers. Submitted pieces are entered into one of four possible judging categories—Coldset, UV, Heatset, and Special--and are judged by members of the SNAP Committee. Judges scrutinize each piece and pull what they deem are the best examples in each category. These examples are then re-judged, voted on, and ranked as first, second, and third place.
Judges determine quality of pieces by considering the following criteria
• Registration
• Degree of difficulty
• Folding, binding, or other finishing (if applicable)
• Overall craftsmanship of product
Once the judging was completed these top offset printers were honored for their work:
• Angstrom Graphics
• Arandell Corp.
• Bartash Printing, Inc.
• Dome Printing
• Eagle Web Press

Others see receiving this recognition as a reassurance to clients.
