Fire Strikes Nacci Printing
ALLENTOWN, PA—A fire broke out recently at Nacci Printing, a 32-year-old commercial printer, according to the Allentown Morning Call. No injuries were reported and the extent of the damage was not known. Frank Nacci, president of the company, did not return several phone calls seeking further comment.
National Mail Graphics Expands
EXTON, PA—National Mail Graphics has completed a $4 million expansion project that includes a 12,000-square-foot addition, as well as a new six-color, 28˝ Miyakoshi MVF 22K UV web press. The new press joins a pair of Didde half-webs for National Mail Graphics, which serves various markets including direct mail, pharmaceutical and insurance.
Hilltop Taps Another UV Press
INDIANAPOLIS—Hilltop Press is scheduled to install an eight-color, 40˝ Komori LS840 sheetfed press this month. It is the company’s third 40˝ UV press; a six-color Komori was acquired in 2005. Hilltop serves the manufacturing and retail sectors, producing items such as point-of-purchase danglers and wobblers.
