Creo Americas reports that Martin Judge, business manager, Strategic Business Initiatives, will take on the responsibility for guiding the success of the recently announced reseller agreement with Xerox. The agreement expands the partnership between Creo and Xerox. Effective February 1, Creo will resell Xerox mid-range and entry-level production color digital presses in the United States and Canada. The two companies are also cooperating in the development of workflow software.
Southwest Software announced that the company's name has changed to Southwest ColorScience. The company is a manufacturer of device calibration and color control software for the printing industry.

Colter & Peterson has formed a new division, Colter & Peterson Canada, to service the Canadian market. Dan Barber, a former long-time employee of Dexter-Lawson Manufacturing, has been named managing director of the new company based in Cambridge, Ontario. Also, Colter & Peterson and Phoenix-based Roy Peterson Cutting Equipment have joined together to purchase Pacific Paper Cutters in Vernon, CA. The new entity will be known as Colter & Peterson Pacific, with locations in Phoenix and Vernon, CA. Effective immediately, all customers of both Pacific Paper Cutters and Roy Peterson Cutting Equipment will be serviced by Colter & Peterson Pacific.
