WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - August 31, 2017 - Signarama, the world’s largest sign franchise, just launched an innovative new mentorship program designed to incentivize its top-performing franchisee employees. The winners of the first Signarama Momentum Mentorship were Chris Weaks of Frisco, TX Signarama and Adam Niksa of Springfield, Mass., Signarama. The two received an all-expenses paid trip to corporate headquarters in West Palm Beach, FL and engaged with the Signarama team and United Franchise Group (UFG) executives to expand their knowledge base and grow their leadership potential.
“The United Franchise Group and Signarama teams are a cohesive unit. We developed the Signarama Momentum Mentorship to help ensure the vitality of one of our premier brands through a prime factor, our people,” said Jim “JT” Tatem, Signarama president. “One of the perks of being a Signarama franchisee is having access to this hands-on mentorship program that takes place in our state-of-the-art training facility.”
In addition to connecting with top leadership, including Tatem and United Franchise Group CEO Ray Titus, the winners also learned about new products and technology from preferred vendors, best practices in their areas of expertise and more through a customized agenda that was developed for each individual.
“The mentorship program was designed to give participants the opportunity to enhance their industry knowledge, further their understanding of Signarama and help identify, reach and fulfill their potential,” added Tatem.
The program awards one slot to a Production Manager (Weaks) and one to an Outside Sales Representative (Niksa). Nominees are full-time employees who have been with the Signarama franchise for at least two years and must demonstrate a deep commitment to improving themselves and their business skills. Both Weaks and Niksa have contributed to the sales growth for their locations, and have dedicated a significant amount of time in sharpening their current skills and building on these skill sets.
“My experience with the Signarama Momentum Mentorship was such a valuable experience. The program really inspired me to further grow my business and offered some great insights on how I may achieve my goals. I am excited to take my learnings and put them into practice,” said Niksa, OSR for Springfield Signarama. “To be able to exchange ideas with and learn from JT and his top team members was priceless.”
