MILWAUKEE—April 15, 2015—Signarama, a producer of indoor/outdoor signage based here, has acquired Design Craft Signs, a family-owned, full-service sign company that has been in business for nearly 40 years. According to BizTimes Milwaukee, the acquisition of Design Craft Signs in Hales Corners, WI, will expand Signarama’s capabilities to include monument, post and panel, interior and sandblasted signs, and will also complement its existing services that include large-scale digital printing, banners, tradeshow displays, vehicles wraps and graphics.
"Signs sometimes seem like a commodity, but we think they’re a big deal. They often make the first impression for a business," Brian Cass, president of Signarama Milwaukee, relayed to BizTimes. "So we work really hard to help our customers stand out and send the right message. Adding these capabilities is all about bringing our customers new ideas and new ways to build their brands."
According to BizTimes, Design Craft Signs' employees and equipment will be moving to the Signarama facility, and all existing customer files have been brought over to Signarama’s systems. Design Craft Signs' owners Jerry and Julie Ziemer are planning to retire from their business.
